Self Aligning Ball Bearings

SBB have two rows of balls, the outer ring has a common concave spherical raceway, and the center of curvature is the same as the center of the bearing. Even if the inner ring, the steel ball and the cage are slightly inclined relative to the outer ring, they can rotate. Therefore, the bearing is self-aligning and will not be affected by the misalignment of the shaft relative to the bearing housing. It is mainly used to bear radial load, but can also bear a small amount of axial load, and generally cannot bear pure axial load. It is especially suitable for bearing applications where considerable shaft deflection or misalignment may occur. For example, precision instruments, low-noise motors, transmission shafts of automobiles, motorcycles, woodworking machinery, textile machinery, mining machinery, electromechanical equipments, plastic machinery, office equipments, medical equipments, fitness and sports equipments, and general machinery, etc. are the most widely used type of bearings in the machinery industry.

Tolerance

The tolerance class of ZWZ standard SBB meets the requirements in GB/T 307.1.

  • Radial clearance

ZWZ standard SBB have 2, standard (N), 3, 4 and 5 class internal clearances, all of which are in line with GB/T 4604.1. The tapered hole SBB use 3 sets of clearance as the standard. The value applies to unmounted and unloaded bearings. Bearings with internal clearance greater than or less than the standard value can also be produced according to user requirements.

Cage

The cage generally adopts stamped cage, solid brass cage and nylon cage. The materials are steel, brass and synthetic resin, etc.

When the outer diameter of the bearing D≤200mm, use the stamped steel plate (belt) cage, without marks of cage suffix.

When the outer diameter of the bearing D>200mm, use the solid brass cage, without marks of cage suffix.

The operating temperature of nylon cage bearings can reach up to +120℃. For bearings that need to operate continuously under high temperature or harsh conditions, a solid brass cage can be considered. For bearings with non-standard cages, please contact ZWZ in advance.

Tolerance

ZWZ produces single-row, double-row and four-row CRB with tolerances of up to Class 4, and also produces double-row cylindrical roller bearings with special tolerances of Class SP and UP for machine tool spindles.

Radial internal clearance

The standard products of ZWZ single-row CRB have basic radial clearance, and also can have 3, 4 groups of clearance.

The standard products of ZWZ double-row CRB have 1 group of clearance, cylindrical bore bearings also can have 2, 3 groups of clearance, and tapered bore bearings also can have 2 groups of clearance.

The standard products of ZWZ four-row CRB have 3 groups of clearance, and other clearance products are also available.

Bearings with radial clearance greater than or less than the standard value can also be produced according to user requirements.

Cage

Single-row CRB mostly use vehicle solid cages, stamping cages, nylon cages, etc. Double-row cylindrical roller bearings mostly use turned brass cage, sometimes can also use nylon cages. Four-row cylindrical roller bearings mainly use turned brass cage, and for larger size, turned solid pillar cages shall be used.

/C9T  Double-row CRB have different clearances between the two rows of raceways.

D  Split bearing.

DR  Two rows of split bearings are used in pairs.

E  Internal design change with reinforced structure. (The raceway size conforms to the current national standard (reinforced type), and the roller diameter and the length are increased compared with the non-reinforced type.)

FC…ZW  Four-row CRB with single inner ring, double outer rings with double ribs, and two rows of rollers against each other.
